DAVIE, Fla. -- The director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) said he plans to step down at the end of this hurricane season.
David Paulison made the announcement on June 1 at his South Florida home during an interview with NBC6’s Jeff Burnside.
Paulison is credited with a complete makeover of FEMA. He said he believes that he has accomplished great things over these couple of years and will be leaving a solid team when the new administration takes over in January.
